Get This Asus A8N 32-SLI-Deluxe Barebone Kit & In 2 Easy Steps Build One of the Best Powerhouse PCs You Can Own
Today’s Deal of the Day is this Asus A8N 32-SLI-Deluxe Barebone Kit It may remind you a bit of the deal I posted a few days ago for a similar barebones kit sans the case. It also had a slightly different motherboard the Asus A8N SLI Premium while this one has the Asus A8N 32-SLI-Deluxe. Guess which board is better? This one! Plus the RAM and classy RAM at that Corsair TWINX 2048MB PC3200 Memory (2 x 1024MB)! Plus the case.
The fully built out "barebones Asus system build with the other motherboard the Asus A8N SLI Premium Barebone Kit costs almost $3000 while our current choice is under $2000. what does the other system have that this one doesn’t (besides an inferiour motherboard)?
It has a XFX GeForce 7800 GTX Highest OverClocked, a Seagate 500GB SATA-II
, an OEM DVD Burner and a Bluetooth Logitech Cordless Laser Desktop instead of the same one without the bluetooth. That all does not make the thousand dollar difference worth it. Instead you can buy this the model I am recommending the Asus A8N 32-SLI-Deluxe Barebone Kit
and put together a better system yourself by buying some parts from Tiger and letting a local shop slam it togeether if you don’t have the tech knowhow. Here is what I would recommend:
1) Get two of theseHitachi 250GB SATA-II

for $89.99 each and have them setup in a RAID array. That will etiher get faster storage say in a RAID 0 (or one of the new higer numbers) or redundant storage in a RAID 1 or its equivelent. This saves you money over the one big drive and gives you speed on top of the savings.
2) Get this XFX GeForce 7800 GT 256MB PCIe
for $299.00 — this is almost the equivelent of the higher priced card on the system we ARE NOT BUYING. Even has two DVI ports in case you want to plug in a 30 inch montior like I want to.
By the way in case you were wondering, I’m scoping out this system for myself and have been putting a lot of work into getting the best deal for myself which means I’m putting a lot of work into getting the best system you can get. The only thing remaining is DVD Burner so
3)
Get the
NEC 16x DVD Burner
as well go wtih the one they put on the other system, its only $39.00. So the parts would cost you a total of $520 so your saving over $400 over the other sysem and getting a slightly higer priced (and better) motherboard.
So you can put together what Alienware would sell you for almost $5000 for just a tad over half that. You can start the process by clicking here on this name "Asus A8N 32-SLI-Deluxe Barebone Kit" or on the image of our deal comptuer below

Western Digital Cavier 250GB External Combo Hard Drive - -- The Best External Hard Drive Ever Made -- Just $222.95

The Western Digital Special Edition - 250GB External Hard Drive - USB 2.0 & Firewire is the external drive I use to back up my number one computer. The reason it has “caviar” in its name is its 8Mb buffer memory and dual firewire and USB 2.0 interface along with its extremely high capacity. It also glows in the dark, something I discovered after buying it. I’ve tried other external drives including Netdrives and I find this drive faster and more reliable than any other. You can get this drive for just $222.95 at this link (less than a dollar a megabyte).

HP "LightScribe" DVD Writer Burns at 16X Then Flip Your Disk Over and Burn an Image And/Or Words Right on the Disk -- For Under $100!
I’m buying one of these HP 16x DVD+/- Double-Layer LightScribe Drives tomorrow so I thought I’d put it up as deal of the day. This internal HP DVD Writer (DVD640vi) has top-of-the-line specs for a DVD drive PLUS (note that “plus” is in CAPS) once you have burned a DVD very very fast, just flip it over and burn a label right on the specially coated DVD! The reason I am buying this drive is that I just destroyed the drive that I have used for the last year (a Memorex True 8X) by accidentally dropping a small piece of a label in its works. A half hour later I had pulled the drive out of the machine and disassembled it (breaking the warrantee). I could not get inside the works.
So it is time for one of these new fangled drives that I have been admiring for awhile now at the low Walmart price of $99.96 —just click here!
