The New Computer Montior King -- Samsung SyncMaster XL30 30" LCD Monitor

samsung XL30

Those of you who have read Computer Deal of the Day for awhile know that I love big montiors. The older I get, the more I need big screens to do my work.

Usually I feature computer deals but when a new Monitor King is crowned, I make exceptions. So today’s Deal of the Day is this  Samsung SyncMaster XL30 30 INCH LCD Monitor for a price too high to reveal.

Here is how one reviewer described the XL30.

The monitor features 123% color production and gives green, dark red and other natural colors onto the monitor in their true form. It includes “Eyeone Design & Eyeone Photo” and “Natural Color Expert” software which allows users to change the color ranges of their choices. The SyncMaster XL30’s specs seems impressive - 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms response time, 170 degrees viewing angle, and support for HDCP.

Samsung 305T 30" Widescreen LCD Monitor - 6ms, 1000:1, WQXGA 2560x1600, Dual DVI-D, USB $1,359.82

Today’s Deal of the Day is this Samsung 305T 30” Widescreen LCD Monitor - 6ms, 1000:1, WQXGA 2560x1600, Dual DVI-D, USB for just $1,359.82

PC Magazine gave this monitor their Editor’s Choice and they consider it THE best montior for your computer — bar none. Herre is how they describe the 305T in Samsung SyncMaster 305T Review by John R. Delaney in PC Magazine.

The 305T’s massive, 30-inch screen is framed by a moderately thin black bezel that gives way to a handsome gray and black case. The 26.5-pound display rests atop a sturdy yet flexible round black base that lets you make swivel, tilt, and height adjustments. Like the Dell 3007WFP, the 305T doesn’t offer much in the way of on-board image adjustments—the monitor sports only two buttons other than the power switch, for increasing and decreasing brightness. There’s no on-screen display system; you can manipulate settings such as gamma, sharpness, and image positioning only through your graphics card’s control applet.

pcmagedchoice.gif The 305T can achieve resolutions as high as 2,560-by-1,600, which means you’ll need a dual-link DVI graphics card that can scale that high to get the best possible picture at those resolutions—nVidia’s GeForce 7600/7800/7950 series and ATI’s Radeon X1800/1900 series are two good options. Four downstream Hi-Speed (480 Mbps) USB ports and one upstream port mean you can use the 305T as a hub to connect to a variety of peripherals, a big plus when it comes to transferring files from devices such as thumb drives and external hard drives.

I found the best deal ever on this must-have montior. Please visit Tiger Direct through this link to claim your low-price deal on the Samsung 305T 30-Inch LCD Monitor
